Tariq Isa graduated from the University of Oxford in 1990 and holds an MBA from Cass Business School. He started an apparel company in Pakistan for a number of years. In 1999, he became a partner and major shareholder in Frog Education which evolved into one of the leading providers of digital learning solutions to schools in the United Kingdom.

In 2012 Frog Education was sold to the Malaysian conglomerate YTL, and Tariq moved to Malaysia, where he continued his entrepreneurial activity. In 2021 Tariq returned to England.

He is a co-founder and major shareholder in Blue Panda Capital Limited (an advisory firm), Uncle Sam Seed Co LLC, and Gwer Delen Limited.
